A client wanted a stone beyond his budget and asked for a discount. I said no — the price is fair. I advised him to buy at a level he’s comfortable with; stretching too far only creates stress. He went elsewhere. I don’t regret it. Some deals aren’t worth making. Earning less is better than making either of us uncomfortable. Saying no is sometimes helping you make the right choice.
